Deductibles reset every twelve months, and while many insurance providers set their policies to take effect from January to December, some plans use different dates. How Do Individual Annual Deductibles Work?

Family annual deductibles work similarly to individual annual deductibles. Under a family plan, each family member is assigned an individual deductible that is included in the family deductible. For example, a family deductible of $250 for a family of five will be satisfied after five $50 payments have been made.
